NAME OF THE POST : AGRICULTURAL OFFICER [ EXTENSION ] AO
VACANCY : 460 POSTS
SALARY AND PAY : Pay band and  Grade Pay Rs.15600-39100 +  Grade Pay  Rs. 5400/-
AGE LIMIT : Candidates minimum age must be  18 years and maximum age must be no age limit for SCs, SC(A)s, STs, MBCs/DCs,  BCs, BCMs and Destitute  Widows of all Castes AND 30 years for OTHERS  as on 1 JULY 2012 .
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : Candidates who were having graduation degree in agricultur / BSC-AGRICULTURE  AND Candidates must possess adequate knowledge in Tamil  are eligible to apply .
SELECTION PROCESS : Candidates would be selected through written test exam and oral test .

WRITTEN EXAM CENTERS LIST : Written exam for agricultural officers would be conducted at

APPLY FEE : Rs.175/- (Rupees one hundred and Seventy five only) (i.e. Cost of Application Rs. 50/- + Examination fee Rs.125/-) be paid.Candidates claiming exemption from examination fee should pay  Rs.50/- towards Application cost.

HALL TICKET DOWNLOAD TNPSC AGRICULTURAL OFFICER : The Hall Tickets for eligible candidates will be made available in the Commission’s Website www.tnpsc.gov.in or www.tnpscexams.net for downloading by candidates. No Hall Tickets will be sent by post.
ANSWER KEY DOWNLOAD : After the written exam TNPSC will provide the link to download answer key
