- The result of Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination, 2012 has been declared by the Union Public Service Commission on 28th July, 2012. As many as 13092 candidates have been declared qualified for admission to the Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2012. As per original deadline notified by the Commission, all these successful candidates were required to submit their Detailed Application Form (DAF) for Civil Services (Main) Examination, 2012 through online latest by 21st August, 2012 and thereafter, they were also required to submit a hard copy thereof along with relevant documents by 27.8.2012.
- The Commission has received representations from some candidates, who could not submit their online application and has decided to allow submission of online application upto 6th September, 2012 till 1159 hrs. The candidates who could not submit their online DAF earlier may submit the same latest by 6th September, 2012 till 1159 hrs. Printed copy of DAF duly signed by the candidate along with all the relevant documents (including the prescribed fee wherever applicable) may also be sent immediately addressed to �the Under Secretary, Civil Services (Main) Examination, Union Public Service Commission, Dholpur House, Shahjahan Road, New Delhi-110069 so as to reach the Commissions office on or before 10.9.2012 (till 1700 hrs).
