AGE LIMIT : Candidates age msut be 18 to 25 years as on 1 JANUARY 2012
EDUCATIONAL QUALIFICATIONS : Candidates who were passed 10th class / class-X / SSC / MATRICULATION FROM A RECOGNISED BOARD are eligible to apply .
SELECTION PROCESS : Candidates would be selected through written test exam .
WRITTEN EXAM SYLLABUS EXAM PATTERN : Wriitten exam comprises two papers like PAPER-I and PAPER-II .
  • PAPER-I [OBJECTIVE TYPE ]: GENERAL INTELLIGENCE AND REASONING - 25 MARKS + NUMERICAL APTITUDE - 25 MARKS + GENERAL ENGLISH - 25 MARKS + GENERAL AWARENESS - 50 MARKS : 2 HOURS DURATION
  • PAPER-II [ DESCRIPTIVE TYPE ] :  Short Essay/Letter in English and Vernacular language - 30 MINUTES DURATION - 50 MARKS
APPLICATION FEE : FEE PAYABLE Rs  100/-(Rupees One Hundred only) for each application.Fee is exempted for all Women candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste, Scheduled Tribe, Physically Handicapped, and Ex-Servicemen eligible for reservation..The candidates submitting their applications on-line should pay the requisite fee only through State Bank of India in the form of challan or through State Bank of India net banking.
APPLY PROCESS : Candidates can apply online . The apply online application submission link and how to apply online stepwise procedure would be available at the SSC official website at ssconline.nic.in   AND ssconline2.gov.in
ADMIT CARD : Candidates who apply on-line but are unable to download their ADMIT CARD/Admission Certificates or do not receive their Admission Certificates at least one week before the date of the examination should contact the concerned Regional Office with details such as Registration ID, Transaction ID of SBI, copy of challan, etc. for obtaining the Admission Certificates. Details of deficiency in online applications, if any, will also be placed on the Commission’s website ( http://ssc.nic.in ) about two weeks before the examination.
